Shocks

Hello, fellow Alpine owners. I have a 2004 Alpine 40 FD coach. I need to have the shocks replaced, and am wondering what the options are. I checked with Shock Warehouse, and they recommend Koni 8805-1022 for the rear, and Koni 99B-3209 for the front. In fact, they don’t even offer a different brand for the Peak chassis. I also saw that there are Road King shocks that folks use on Country Coach, but heard they are much more expensive, and haven’t seen anywhere that shows they would be a proper application for an Alpine/Peak chassis. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You will be happy with the Koni's, particularly the 99 series in the front.

I put the koni's on mine. Zero complaints. $803 from Ultra Rv Products.

KONI’ s bought from Ultra Rv. Quick service, great price and a much better ride than the 4 year old Bilstein’s I replaced. You will be very happy with them.
