so i was loading up for a crabbing trip this weekend and noticed my water pump is leaking from the very bottom switch assembly? Anyone else have this issue?

... I just had mine apart because the micro switch that is actuated by the membrane was burned out.
So the membrane (about as bidg as a quarter) has a hole in it letting it leak out the bottom.
You can find that whole assembly at Amazon including membrane for $12-15. I still have my invoice and can look it up if you need me to.

Thank you. I did find the parts breakdown and got the part number for the bottom switch assembly.

Maybe a coincidence but it never leaked until today when I added some rv antifreeze and ran the pump/faucets.

I don’t really do the whole winterize things beings we are in Oregon and only have maybe 4-5 nights below freezing for 8 hours/night. So not a constant freeze. Plus we use the alipine probably every other weekend and it is always plugged into 30amp at my house.

I just replaced the shurflo pump on my 2017 HR Vacationer because it was also leaking from the valve body on the pump. There was a small crack in it.

You can see the drop of water coming at the seam where the switch assembly mates to the valve assembly. Just off how this all of a sudden came about after I added antifreeze

... no the membrane is made of rubber. But it is seeing the water pressure on one side and has to work against a plunger that is spring loaded on the other side. I think it just fatigued after so many cycles. I was actually amazed how hard that plunger is to press down for 55psi pressure. Anyways mine went out at a trip to the Badlands... I had the part delivered to the campground and lone and behold the UPS driver knocks on my door 2 days later and drops the part off. Amazing...

Thank you very much for the info. I’m assuming gotta drain the tank to replace. At least the tank is only 1/4 full right now.

Tip the coach with your jacks and you probably don't need to drain any fresh water. iiwm I would install a shutoff valve in the line before the pump then install a new pump and repair the old to keep on board for a spare. A dead pump can be a real problem if you are boondocking.

I second the shut-off valve!
My pressure switch stared leaking as well right after we purchased our coach (had been sitting prior to our purchase). Next time around will be a much easier repair.

Is there any way to use the pump to circulate antifreeze?

Having a heck of a time getting it in the fresh water tank with that little spring check valve at the fill spout.
