I have a '04 40' FDTS. The bedroom vanity slide extends 14". From the inside it seems that there could be another 4-5" possible. Can someone measure theirs for me? Thank you.

We have the 38 Ft 2004, our vanity does not go out all the way either. If you feel behind the gap inside there are hinges that keep it from going out anymore. I think the slide operation is different for the vanity than the other sides, not positive tho.

I just purchased a 38' 2005 and was told by the dealer technician that the vanity slide does not extend as far as it seems it should. If you look carefully you will notice that some of the hardward prevents it from extending further.

Chris, interesting question. I was wondering the same thing when I was looking at the outside & inside of your coach this winter in Tempe. It seems rather odd that Western built it like this. Nice to see that you found this forum and are using it. Take care, Jeff
