slide outs (bushings) ?

2006 apex my understanding that slide outs rest on teflon ? pads when they slide in and out. Have slide outs that are making a terrible grinding (gritty) sound when going out or in maybe pads or whatever need to be replaced. Help 818 359 8915 Thank You Pathfinder
