Stepcover extender

We just bought a 2004 Alpine 38’, in May, so we’re now headed out the door on our 4 week road trip and now the step cover will not extend out . Could it just be a blown fuse?

Lippert Components 379147 Motor and Screws (For Kwikee Step) If not the fuse ,here is the part # on Amazon. Easy to repair. Unscrew old motor and install new. About an hour.

He's talking about the cover at the top of the stairs, Jim, not the step outside the coach.

We never used ours and had it removed when we had a new tile floor installed.
