Sticky window latches, 2000 era.

Most of my window latches are fine but a few are sort of jamming as you try to operate the little levers. They work after wiggling them.
I don't want to break them because I don't know if replacements are even available.

Is there something I should be tightening or lubricating?

And why are there two styles of Latch? One has wider handle.

Put a little WD-40 or better yet, Strike Force on them. I also use a dry live on the windows to help them slide.
