Sun Shades

We think we want to have sun shades installed, saw some with wing nuts rather than snaps. Any advise?

Also, is Camping World the best place to have window awnings installed.

We are really happy with our Motorcoach Designs (MCD) sunshades. They use snaps. What's nice about snaps is that once the shades are up, the snaps are invisible. The MCD material is top notch. You can order shades already cut for Alpine Coach with the Alpine logos, etc. There are several independent dealers for MCD that will order/install for you, or you can do it yourself. We're glad we had a dealer install them because they got a good tension on the screens.

They also have a very elegant tire cover solution.

P.S. Here at the factory we're getting window awnings put on! Woohoo! Finally! I know you guys wanted those too.

I bought both the window awnings and the MCD sunscreens from the WRV Accessory Center when Mike was running it. Prices were comparable to CW. I installed both of them myself, and am very happy with how they turned out. The installation is not that big of a deal. If you do any kind of home repair yourself, you could install either one. It just depends on how much you like to do your own work. It took me a while to feel comfortable drilling holes in the side of my new coach!!!

The window awnings are worth every penny spent. They definitely help keep the temps down inside. I even put them over the windows under the main awning for those breezy days when you don't have it out.
