Turning radius

Is there somewhere that shows the turning radius differences between the different wheelbases?

Here's a bunch, you'll have to find your own graphic: Truck/Bus turn radius

It takes around 2 counties to turn LOL. Just kidding but the cut angle is not like the newer motorhomes so it does take a fair amount to turn around.

I am almost in Yuma and will be able to get you some photos of our Alpine soon.

When I was into bus conversions, there were overlaid diagrams floating around that showed the radius differences between the popular bus chassis'. Didn't know if someone had gotten bored in the past, and made one for these coaches, lol.

The 38 Alpines are on a 1' shorter wheelbase than my old bus was. So I would expect them to turn pretty much the same. The 36 should turn a bit tighter, and 40 wider, obviously. The thought popped into my head late last night, hence the post. Never took more than 40 acres to turn the bus around, so....

I believe the cut angle on early coaches is 48 degrees, later coaches is 52 degrees. The change happened sometime around 2003-2004 but I'm not sure.

The 2004 and later brochures list it as 50 degrees. The 2003 and earlier brochures do not provide that information, but I recall reading here that it was 48 degrees.

I can tell you from experience my 38 foot 2000 Alpine turns much sharper than my 40 foot Foretravel did. And it even beats the NewMar Vantana rear wheel turn 40 ft we test drove.
