Unhappy Where are all the Alpines

Have been on the road from San Francisco to Naples Florida for 5 weeks now and have stopped in a dozen mostly large Rv parks. Not one Alpine have I seen, in the parks, or on the road between stops. And I have kept a sharp eye out for any units.
Are we that close to being a dying breed or are we just in the wrong places at the wrong times?

Feeling lonely

They are all here in Southern California for the ACA Pre-Rally and the FMCA Rally. You were just headed the wrong way.

At last count, there are 6 in IN, MI, IL. Waiting for the spring.
Patty and I will have to stay put until about May...when she can pull and I can push her up into the motor home with her new hip. Then look out, we will be all over the Midwest. A far stretch from Cali!

We have been traveling around the southeast since January, we missed Jerry and Judy by about 2 days in New Orleans. Currently we are in Nashville, then headed back to Cape Cod, after the 108" of snow have melted!

If you come to NY you can see mine. We don't even need a snow shovel anymore to get to it.

I know about the FMCA rally in Pomona, I hope to make it by there, where is the ACA pre rally? I don't have an Alpine I'm just very curious about them. I was thinking I'd try and get by the ACA rally and pick a few brains if that is acceptable.

Thanks, Terry

The pre rally is at the Valencia Travel Village RV park. It officially runs from the 19th to the 24th. We will be there today (a day early). You should be able to drop by almost anytime although we do have some evening activities schedule both at the park and at other locations. We have full-day off-site activities planned for Saturday thru Monday.

Jerry - You may think "dying breed" others may think "elite."

Thanks, I will get by there. We are looking for another MH and regardless of what we look at I seem to come back to Alpine. They seem to be very high quality and I am really attracted to the big grey and black water tanks. We do a fair amount dry camping.

My understanding is that they drive and ride very nice. I would really enjoy talking to some owners and getting opinions on the different floor plans.

Thanks, Terry

I sure do envy those out and about in their Alpines. This was a mild winter this year, we normally can't roll our rig out of our shop until late April and we are chomping at the bit to hit the road. This year travels include Idaho,Utah and Oregon coast. We always knock on the door of any Alpine coach we see in CG and rest stops. We've meet some fine fellow owners in our travels.Click image for larger version
