Has anyone every had to have there windsheild re-sealed on a 08 or 09 model (One Piece Windshield)? I have a water leak in the left front corner dripping down from the top and also have water coming up between seal and windshield on inside during a rain storm. (Also left front cornor) The cap has been resealed and the clearance lights look like they are sealed very well. I will have to get a new seal. Are they a generic seal or will it have to be for an Alpine? It looks like the outside seal is nothing but silcone or is there more to it than the eye sees.
If I don't get this fixed before we leave this month for the NW my wife is goig to.......... well lets just say it won't be a pretty site!!!!!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ARW- seal is mastic all around. Call some auto glass shops in the area & describe the installation (4' high x 8.5' wide one-piece MH windshield set in mastic, not a rubber gasket type, w/leak) and someone should have experience doing these. All you need is the offending areas properly sealed on the outside; don't think it needs to be removed.
If that doesn't work, then you have other leaks.

Creeping Crack Cure might be a temporary fix. It is great for stopping those bleached out edges around the windshield. Wipe off immediately from anything you don't want it on. Camping World has it.

Great idea! I hadn't even bemoaned those "bleached out edges" yet. Now that you mention it, you're right, I don't want to see them.

Is it compatible with the mastic? Does it stay flexible or will it contribute to the problem as time passes? Is it specifically for this use?

The Creeping Crack Cure is a very thin liquid that is white. It can be observed upon application as it tracks its way through a crack or leak. It dries clear so the bleached edges will still be visible but sealed. It is also flexible. I used it two years ago and it seems to have stopped the separation. This stuff is great for checking caulk around windows etc.

We just had to have the passenger side windshield on our 2007 Apex re-done. We used I'm Glass in Chehalis, WA. Cost us 200.00 and they had the coach for about 4.5 hours. Take I-7 north or south - get off at Exit 77 head east, cross the R/R tracks (2) and turn left on Railroad Rd, big Yellow Building on the corner, you cannot miss it. I highly recommend them for the work. You would be responsible for the windshield if they break it taking it out. They did not have that problem on ours.

Update.... It was the windshield that was causing the water leak. The windshield was not install right. We just finished two nights at the North Rim Grand canyon with a lot of rain and we had no leaks. Thanks to all who replied.
