We run our microwave quite a bit on our 2K PSW Xantrex inverter. Never have had a problem.

I found this in the manual for the SW2000.

It appears that the inverter does have some hybrid capability. Explained are 2 conditions when inverting may occur while connected to shore power.

Awesome! I can’t read your attachment but I’ll research the manual. I’ve had a hard time finding that very information for configuring the SW with the SCO. What is the exact name of the manual you’re referencing?

If on shore power, Xantrex should switch to grid mode. It will pass thru what it is served up to 30amps from SP unless the charger is programmed to high amperage output.. When on shore power and we want to enjoy high wattage appliances, I turn the charger function down to 10amps from 60amps. This gives the Xantrex a little “breathing room”, and relieves it from having to operate at or near max output. Not an expert here, but conscious about over-taxing components.

Kid Glove … I found the User’s Guide which explains all those settings. I had no idea that the charger would engage the inverter function to help manage the load. I’m assuming that when the inverter function joins in the load may explain the transformer hum. This explains why changing the Power Share from 20 amps to 30 amps seems to have eliminated the hum while running the space heater. However, it doesn’t explain why the Keurig doesn’t cause the hum UNTIL the initial water heating & pumping is dome (just on waiting for brewing). I’m beginning to think that the Keurig is inducing some noise into the circuit causing the reaction from the charger.

I also the checked the Search Mode which is disabled.

Marine359 … I will look at the charge setting and possibly change it to a lower value as you have stated. Thanks for the info!
