Short term ; find the fuse and pull it. That way everything else is still on.

Long term; You're probably going to have to disassemble it and fix what's wrong or replace the whole fan.

I have a 2004 Sea Breeze.

Mine stuck closed up on the roof. I climbed up on the roof and just gave it a hand getting open.. Then it worked fine..Your problem sounds different.

First pull the fuse. It's on the inside in a corner. A round knob.
Second, call the fantastic fan (atwood) at 1-800-524-3880, ext. 114888. You'll talk to Sharon. Very knowledgable. Tell her your problem. She has a fix or need a new one.

The rubber seal on the vent cover is most likely stuck. Get on the roof and gently pry the lid to loosen it. Then treat the seal with Aerospace 303.

Pull the fuse to stop it.

This was from another post

http://www.irv2.com/forums/f105/nati...ng-288917.html

"Mine fan has power , but the small 12 vdc motor that lifts the lid up and down wont shut off either from the unit or the bulkhead control module..!! Any ideas or is this operator error...."

Mine has done the same thing twice. Had to remove the little fuse until I could get time to mess with it. Turns out that my arm mechanism was not working. The motor will only shut off by itself when the lid gets to the end. The pressure will shut off the motor.
On mine the spindle moved out of the arm that opens the lid. Had to get up in there and and re-insert that spindle. I don't know what they are called, but it is made of spring steel and is sort of a half round thing about 3/4" long.

Look up in there and I think you will find the same thing.
The "spindle" is called a 'tension pin'
