06 Sea Breeze Drivers Seat Cables

Does anyone know who built the seats used in the Sea Breeze, 2006 model year. I thought they were Flexsteel but Bradd & Hall are saying they think it is a different manufacturer as the model # doesn't match. I need to replace the recline and swivel cable.

Most swivel seats will lift off the pedestal with no problem, some might have a clip or retainer, but most will just lift off. Once off, you can search more easily for a label or identifying marks to give you a clue as to who made them. You could also take the seat to an upholstery shop to identify and perhaps help with the parts you need.

I don't remember the name of the original manufacturer of the seats in my 99 Dolphin, Villa International bought them several years ago. When I called Villa I talked to a person that worked for the original manufacturer before the buy out. Give them a call, might be able help. I have since replaced all my seats with Flexsteel.

Iíve got the same problem with my 2005 Sea Breeze. Did you find a replacement part or a workaround?

Thanks!
Bev

I just got one from VisoneRV.com, for my swivel function, it was $48.99 delivered, and it doesn't say SWIVEL on it, it's blank like the arm rest levers.

$48.99! Do you have a pocket knife? A Dremel tool? A scrap of wood? Before I'd pay that for a plastic knob I'd widdle one out of wood or plastic myself. Wouldn't even need to brag about it, but each time I reached down to recline the seat I'd have my own silent satisfaction that I did it myself. --might even sleep better.
