06 Tropical 351

Hi all, we are seriously looking at a 06 National Tropical T351. The coach has 60,000miles on it but looks to be in amazing shape. Are there any trouble areas with this coach?? It has the C7 cat 300. Also I'm pretty sure the cooling system is the same as the 350hp variant how much would it cost to have the ECM reprogramed?

Thanks all!

Had an 04 T396 with the 350. I never noticed where the people with the 300s had any more problem pulling the hills than I did. Only real problems we had with our coach was over heating due to the sandwich design of the CAC and radiator. You need to make sure to clean it about once a year. Not sure on the 06 but the slobber tube needed to be extended to keep from throwing oil on the radiator and all of them needed the oil dipstick re-calibrated for the correct amount of oil. Loved my Tropi Cal. You might want to verify that the previous owner had the valve lash adjustment done as it is overdue. Probably should have had the serpentine and water pump belts replaced also.

Thanks a lot! we ended up not purchasing the coach as it had some fiberglass work (repair) done that wasn't up to my standards. I really appreciate the reply!
