06 Tropical Question re fuel filler vent

On our Tropical I noticed there's a metal vent tube inside the wheel well next to the fuel fill hose that is capped off. Curious if anyone with a similar model diesel can verify if your coach has a vent hose going to the fuel tank. Ours fills slowly and I wonder if the lack of a vent is compounding the issue.

mine is the same on a 2007. There is a vent hose coiled on top of the tank with an open end hanging off the back of the tank. Don't know if it supposed to be that way but I get fuel backing up and shutting off the pump often. I was planning to have Freightliner check it on my next annual service. Would be interested to see what the issue/solution is also.

Thanks for the link Richard. Sure sounds like the vent should be connected. Well I guess I'll take a look for the vent hose at the top of the tank. Don't look forward to dropping the tank
