12 volt issue

I have a 2007 Seabreeze LX on Workhorse chassis 8.1 engine. It wont crank, Chassis Battery has been tested and charged. dash lights come on but starter wont engage and hydraulic jacks won't work. The boost switch don't help or work. Seams to be electrical problem. possible relay or fuse/breaker. Any suggestion would be appreciated before I get in too deep. I've checked wiring and find no indications of something chewing on the wires. Thanks in advance David

Got a 12 volt test light?......check for power at the starter solenoid while someone is holding the key in the start position.......small wire, not the battery cable..

Power

Check for a tripped that powers your jacks. Likely will be on back side of fuse panel and hard to see if it is tripped. May have to feel for the reset sticking out.

12 volt issue

I have a 2013 Coachmen on a 2012 Chevy 4500 chassis. I am having a reoccurring issue with the ‘run/crank’ relay. When it goes out starter solenoid will not engage. Fuse box, on my unit, is located under the hood drivers side under the brake master cylinder.
The AC relay next to it is the same relay (part number) on my unit. Swapping them is how the mechanic confirmed it was that relay keeping it from cranking. Went to parts store, bought two so I had a spare. Went out again months later and so I now carry two.
This may help you find another possible repair area to consider.
Paul

Check your starter. It may have a bad spot on the gear. I had this problem happen to me when stopped at a Walmart in N.C. Tried everything and finally took starter off to a Auto parts and had it tested. Of course it ran on their test setup. Put it back in and it started right up. Never stopped engine on way home and replaced starter with new one. No problem since.
