1997 Tropi-cal GE Micro/Convection model JVM290

When we bought our motorhome, the previous owner "lost" the temperature/meat probe for the above noted Micro/Convection oven.
Just wondering if anyone who has replaced their micro wave might happen to have the meat probe for this model still kicking around.
I'm willing to pay a fair price for it along with the cost to mail it, but at this point I would like to try and find a used one as the new ones range anywhere from $63.00 to $118.00 plus shipping .

Not really worth buying a new one as it's not really needed to use the convection oven, but just makes it more convenient for roasts etc.

If anyone can help, it would be appreciated.

Thanks all.

Thanks to Bignach - a memeber of the iRV2 forum for responding to my post.
He actually had a probe for my Micro/convection oven and offered it at a very fair price.
It's great when a community of RV folks can get together and help each other out with their day to day problems - large or small.

I have been following this thread, because we also bought a 97 dolphin with the convection/microwave oven with no shelf and no probe, there must be a lot of the temp probes hidding out there somewhere. If no one has a extra probe would shure like to find the metal shelf, will pay reasonable price. Any help will be appreciated.

Hey pjtaxi I have good new for you.

About the same time I found my probe, I received a response from another source and he has the probe you need. Not sure about the shelf, but I would guess that he has one.
Here's the link - give him a try and I'm sure he can help you out.
