Question 1998 Sea Breeze 1310 Limited won't start

Ok, Gang:
My 1998 Sea Breeze 1310 Limited ('97 Ford F53 chassis, 460 CID EFI V8) has developed a problem: The engine sometimes refuses to start. It CRANKS FINE (until I run the battery down trying to start it), and THERE IS SPARK at the spark plugs, but the engine acts like it is not getting fuel. The rig seems to exhibits this behavior randomly---sometimes it starts right up, cold or warm, and then suddenly will not re-start. Once it is running, it runs and drives GREAT under any condition---I drove it for over 6 hours at freeway speeds, mostly in the rain, returning to Detroit from the U. P. of Michigan WITHOUT SHUTTING THE ENGINE OFF, for fear of being stranded. Now that I'm home, I need to get to the bottom of this reliability issue.
Things I have already checked:
• Fuel pump fuse---OK
• Fuel pump relay---OK
• Inertia fuel cutoff switch---OK
Any ideas/experiences with this issue?
