1999 Dolphin water issues

Hi, new to rving. Trying to connect water for the first time with no luck. I have got the hose connected to city inlet. When I try to do city water serve, It starts leaking like bad connection right behind panel. I tried to fill fresh water tank and filled until the overflow spout started running. But the meter inside still says my fresh water is empty. Im getting no water in the cabin. But the filter under the sink does feel like its got water in it.

Here is the relevant information fro our '05 Dolphin users' guide. I hope it helps.

If the water hose connections are not leaking, the only other failure that would cause the leakage you describes is from the water pump. I know this from a winter without antifreeze in the water system.

You need to remove the panel and see where the leak is. Also your left handle is in by pass position, so you have no water going to the water heater.

There is plenty of hose behind the panel to just remove the screws around the edge and drop down

The tank level indicator may not be working . Go to the rear storage compartment , drivers side and you should find the fresh water tank drain valve . Open the drain valve to verify there is water in the fresh water tank . You say you are new to rving so did you start the water pump to pull waterfront the fresh water tank ? As stated above remove the screws from the panel to find the city water leak .

Your leak could be the plastic fitting your hose is connected to. You can reach behind the panel with your hand to check it. Itís easy to change or could just be a leaky gasket or it needs tightening. Tank sensors are unreliable, you may not be able to use them to determine your tank status whether fresh, grey or black. Do you hear the pump running when you try to get water from the tank?

Your hot water bypass valve should be in the other position unless you are winterizing.
