2000 Dolphin 5374 Towing Characteristics

My Dolphin has a Ford V-10 Engine and Ford Chassis. It is a Tag axel configuration.

I recently purchased a 2006 Jeep Liberty for my Toad. Even though my coach can tow it per the specs, I'm wondering what other owners of similar rigs have in the way of experience to share.

Also, what types of tow bars can the Group recommend?

I have a 1997 35' Tropical with tag axles and with the Ford V8 engine. I tow a 2003 Jeep Liberty with no problems. I use the Demco tow bar system and really like it.

I have a 2000 Tropi-cal same drivtrain and tow a 2006 HHR no problem approx. 3000 lbs.My best suggestion is not going but stopping , make sure to have auxilary brake system in toad, don't forget to make sure tag axle brakes are working. I have seen an instance, in another motorhome of tag axle brakes not working from the factory with no fluid in system .
