2000 Seabreeze -crunched the mirror

Backing out of storage, crunched the convex drivers mirror.
I have already found the mirror, Velvac 709449, for the triple inverted mirror.
Where the mirror is attached to the front cap the two rear screws pulled out about an inch, decent size wood screws.
I am hoping they were just screwed into a wood block on the inside.
Anybody know for sure what they were screwed into?

The mirror is mounted to sheet metal in the front cap with sheet metal screws, #12 1-1/2 inch, flat head. Stainless steel screws will work. The head on zinc plated screws is to big to go into the recessed hole for the screws.
New screws tightened right up, mirror will be here Tuesday.

Thanks for the information on how the mirror is mounted.
