2000 Tradewinds J1939 or J1708 port

I'm new to this forum and bought a 2000 National Tradewinds 7370. The tachometer has never worked (the previous owner said) and it is important to us. I understand it is connected to the VDC and no one works on them anymore. I read somewhere on this forum that the ScanGuage D is an easy fix but has to be connected under the dash with either a J1939 or J1708 port. Can anyone tell me if this particular motorhome has this port? I'm trying to get ready to go south so need any help you can give me.
