Cavie, When I replaced the old GFI I was careful to insure that each wire, black or white were placed just as they were in the original GFI. Tomorrow I'm going to check each of the other plugs to ensure they are not the problem.

Yesterday my neighbor came over with his multimeter and checked the one GFI that won't reset. It read 122v on the main line coming in but 0 on the two going out.
We then went outside and checked out the transfer switch. With just shore power the green LED light was not on, when we added the generator the shore power clicked off and the green LED light came on.
Today I'm going to check my TV that I saw FLASH just before I lost power on one side of the MH. I'll run an extension from my house to the TV.
I just noticed on the Transfer Switch cover where the green LED light is it says "110 VDC OUT LED INDICATER (OPERATION OK) TIME DELAY CONTROL MODULE 120 VAC IN

If you have 120 volts on the incoming side of the GFCI, why are you looking at the transfer switch ?
You have power but not getting past the GFCI. Take the GFCI out, connect the wires together, color for color, and see if things get better.

I thought about doing that but could a new GFI actually be bad? Will try that later when it warms up.
The reason we were checking the Transfer Switch is because it appears that I have lost power on one side of the MH and with my Progressive Surge Protector I'm getting code E0 which means no problem but as it goes through it's cycle it shows 0 on L1 and L2 on amp draw.
So is the Green LED light supposed to be on for Generator power only on the circuit board??

I was told by an Electrician not to by pass the GFI by doing what you said. Got me a GFI tester at Home Depot today, will see what it reads after I replace a plug.

Stop checking voltage with lights. Take your neighbor and his meter. Start at the shore power. Check for 240 volts L1 to L2. check for 120 volts L1 to neutral. Check for 120 volts L2 to neutral. check for o volts neutral to ground. Now work you way bask to your RV checking for this same voltage at EVERY connection Especially the Transfer switch. open it up and measure the voltage in and voltage out.
When you get to the breaker panel check for 240 volts at the line side of the main breaker. Red and Black wires. Check for 120 volts at all other breakers.
Always start at the shore power and work your way beck. ALWAYS

I meant as a test, not a permanent fix.

GFI testers are for checking outlets downstream of the GFI outlet. Not for the outlet it'self. The GFI outlet has a built in tester. Test/rest buttons. Chances are you won't need the GFI tester after you replace the outlet. GFI tester is to insure that the required outlets on GFI circuit are indeed on the GFI circuit.

If a ground fault exists downstream of the GFI, it will not reset. Unhook the load (downstream) side and see if it will reset.

This is a correct test but there are 2 reasons for no reset. One is a ground fault and one is no power to the GFI outlet.

I tried to reset the GFI with just the power coming in and it would not reset. Does this mean the GFI is bad?, it was bought a few days ago.
The first thing that happened at around 2:30 AM on the 1st was my TV above the dash board flashed on and quickly off, then the fan in our back bedroom quit. I went outside to check the Surge Protector and it was reading E0, but on the L1 and L2 there was zero amp draw. I even tried an older Surge Protector but it gave the same reading.
What about the green LED light in the Transfer Switch coming on when the generator is on, but goes off when the shore power is on?
Could there have been a surge in shore power that got past the Progressive Surge Protector?
All the ac power is dead on the drivers side plus the TV that flashed and the microwave across on the other side. My residential fridge next to the microwave runs on shore power or generator. All the electrical outlets on that side also work including the two GFI's.
So since the fridge is running why isn't the Surge Protector showing amp draw?
Could there be something wrong with my 50amp power cord?
Guess I need to hunt for a knowledgeable RV Electrician.
Hey Cavie how close are you to Saint George, Utah

No, it means it is doing it's job. When we talk about GFI's we are talking about the master device not the down stream outlets.
I do think it's time for an electrician. The electicity in you RV is the same in your RV as it is in your house. Both are wired to the National Electric Code. You seem to know enough about electric to get yourself in trouble.
We would know that if you would follow my instructions and start at the shore power and work you way back to the RV panel like I told you in post #20.

So today I disconnected the shore power and fired up the genny. Let it run until my fridge came on, but everything stayed the same.
