2002 tradewinds 7391 a/c thermostat questrion

The unit has 2 rooftop a/c units controlled by 1 wall control box using 2 zones, which works great. Here is the question. I can only find 1 wall sensor, mounted on the bedroom wall, I guess this controls the bedroom, zone 2 a/c unit. I cannot find a wall sensor for the front a/c unit, zone 1. Does anyone out there have the same system??

It is on the passenger side of dash, just small attachment. The rear temperature sensor is on the wall in the hall across from the shower.

If it looks like this and has 4 or 5 buttons the front zone sensor is internal in the t'stat.

The duo-therm contains the thermostat for front zone (usually zone 2). it is common for it not to be in sync with the correct temperature and needs to be reset now and gain. This is easy, turn the duo-therm off, hold the top and bottom buttons in and whilst holding these buttons turn the duo-therm back on; the display should read 'FF', this shows it has been reset.

So there is no sensor in front? Probably it doesnt have any front sensor. This is why front side is always warmer in warm times and colder in winter times. Anyway I can add sensor?

I didn't realize you weren't the original poster on this thread ; apologies to tradewinds 73 for hi-jacking his post.

The front of your coach is colder/warmer because the windshield is the area of the LEAST insulation of your entire coach .
On my coach , the addition of a 90% sun block windshield cover ( outside on all front windows) helped with both temperature ranges , also finding the fresh air intake for the dash HVAC and blocking it off , helped greatly with drafts and dust intrusion .
Note: I spend 5+ months Nov/Mar in a desert area so the installation / removal of these two items is no problem time wise. Partially blocking the furnace vent in the bed room helped push more heat to the front .

I have no idea if there is a way to eliminate the internal temp sensor in the thermostat and add a second remote . But unless you have two furnaces , it probably won't help with the cold weather temps and you can always set your front zone A/C temp lower for the hot weather .
Perhaps you could ask, your own question in the " RV systems and appliances " forum.
