2003 Dolphin LX window shade removal

I need to remove the hard fabric covered valance of the small windows in the dinette area for shade repair. I removed the 4 small screws of the L shaped brackets on the inside of the valance that hold the side valance to the wall however the top will not release. I cannot see anything that is holding the top but it will not release for removal to access the shades. Can anyone provide me information on how to remove these hard fabric covered valances framing the windows. Thanks to all who can help.

I have not tried this as of yet, but I was wandering if they may be stuck there as if a glue was on them? After all these years and to never be removed. Did You try to give them a lil pull and see if they come loose? This is just a thought here, as I have never removed mine, Yet!

On ours there were a couple of angle brackets holding the top to the overhead surface. They are the same brackets you found on the lower locations. They are close to the corners on the face. I used a long screw driver to get to the screws. They are hard to see. Use a flashlight.

Their are screws (probably 2) going straight up into the cabinet wood. Hard to see as the screw head gets into the fabric, You might need a small magnet to find them. Feel up in their with a long Phillips head..
