2003 Tradewinds LE

I'm looking at a 2003 Traderwinds LE, I have a 2001 surf Side.
Does anyone have any issues with their unit or suggestions what to look for on this model. Love my Surf Side, National seems to be a well built coach.

I bought a 2003 Tradewinds LE (M395) a couple of months ago (this is my first RV). So far I am very happy with it. I have been spending a lot of time cleaning it up, and fixing little things, etc., but overall I think it is a well designed coach.

One thing I have noticed is that the front overhead console seems to be such that the right and left sides are pulling down away from the ceiling. I plan to replace the TV with something newer, so maybe the lighter weight will help with the issue some. Also, maybe there was some water leakage that allowed the wood in this area to soften?

Other than that, I can't really think of too many things I would want to change (oh, except that I wish the "toilet room" was a little bit larger).

Judd is spot on. I had water leaks at the front cap seem until I swapped out the heavy glass TV with a Flat Panel. The 60 pound TV cantilevered in the overhead compartments pulled the seem loose. There has also been windshield fitment problems with the turn of the century Tradewinds and mine got a lot better after replacing the TV with a 14 pound Flat Panel. I built the frame and the DVD box under the TV just to make access easier on this old guy. It didn't add much weight.
