Question 2004 Dolphin Water Heater

Hi...We just bought a 04 Dolphin last week and I'm draining it in prep for winterizing. The manual suggests removing the hot water heater plug to let it drain. I confess..I don't know where the hot water heater is!!!
Can someone help this National Newby?
Thanks

I think the RV Geeks on Youtube have a video on it. It is at the base of the heater made out of plastic if you have an Atwood which I think you probably do. Make sure the heater is cold when doing so.

2004 Dolphin Water Heater

It's behind the large sq. panel with a vent in the middle. You will need a dowel or pc of PVC pipe to prop it up it hinges on the top. Mine is on the right side between two compartment doors.

It's the door on the bottom.

Found it!

Ha! Thanks to the picture from tmw188 I was able to identify it. On mine the panel is on the opposite side from the fridge stuff. I would have worked on it tonight but it's pouring down rain. Will get it drained and do some winterizing tomorrow! Weeeeeee! Love our new girl!

In addition to draining the heater, you will really do yourself a favor using a flush wand to remove the scale in the tank bottom.
