Does anyone know where you can get a
"Hardened Rolled Pin" for the bedroom slideout? I sheared one on my last trip. I was able to push the slideout in and purchased a large u clamp @ Ace Hardware to keep the slide in during our trip home. I took it to our Rv shop here locally and they put another hardened roll pin in and it works, but he told me he couldn't find one identical. Think he said this one wasn't as wrapped. I'd like to find one and could probably swap it out myself, or at least keep it as a spare if this new one happens to sheer on the road, down the road......

roll pin

If you can't fine one, why don't you take the broken one to a machine shop, they will make you one.

Thanks for the info, I have dived deeper into this forum and found a post with a website where I can order some. Also my Rv shop gave me the middle price he retrieved from the shaft to keep, so maybe I could have one replicated at a machine shop. I really am enjoying this forum, it's getting addictive, but you can learn so much from the experience of others. Knowledge is Power!
