I did 3 things, and mine is now silent:
1. There are 4, rounded, plastic block's that the slide rides on. 2 are on the outside edge, and 2 are on the inside; basically the 4 outside corners of the bed. I removed mine (I also shimmed up the outside 2) and lightly sanded them clean. Mine were embedded with dirt and rust.
2. This is the biggest issue. The 2 inside blocks ride directly on the steel frame tubes of the slide. There is likely a very thin rust on the surface, and rust has a very high coefficient of friction, causing the squealing most people hear from this design. I took steel wool and cleaned off the rust, then smeared a very thin layer of #2 grease on the steel surface where it rides on the plastic blocks.
3. I keep a waxed surface on the fiberglass under the slide out where the 2 outside blocks ride.
All I ever hear now is the slide motor running. So nice!
This is a very simple fix. Open the slide all the way, open all the drawers and you will see the outside blocks. Close the slide about 4 to 6 inches then to see the 2 inside blocks.
