2004 Seabreeze 8311 Drawings & Lav Sink Odors

Hello All,
Been surfing this forum for awhile and now need help!
Would like to find Systems Drain Plumbing for 2004 Sea Breeze 8311. Have similar years drawings for Dolphin but the layout of the 8311 is so different than the 34, 37 footers, their drawings don't mean much. Would like to know if there is an auto vent in the wall for the lav sink, have under sink odor.

Thanks!
Jim

on mine there is a "one way" air valve inside the sink cabinet, up at the sink height. Stand on your head to see it. it is just screwed in. As I remember the replacement is about $6, or a better replacement is about $20, both at Home Depot. The cheep one did not fix the odor , the good one has stop the stink.

Thanks donhoward49! No one way air valve under sink, output from pee trap just goes directly into wall. Thanks!

I may have a plumbing diagram in my MH, it is a 2004 seabreeze but model 1341, maybe drawing will be general in nature. I will check when in unit this weekend and let you know.

Thanks Trode! I have 6341 drawings, but the 8311 lav is on the pass side of coach, where the 34 footer is on the driver side.

I may have found the problem. There is a small about 16" long 1 1/2" black ABS pipe that extends through the roof. When I took the vent capoff, this piece easily came out. Looking down through the hole in the roof, I could see where the 90 deg black ABS elbow it was connected to probably fell off, which would allow the fumes to enter coach. Trying to decide wheather to go ahead and glue the piece back and install new Siphon vent cap.

Thanks!

Well keep me posted, my 1341 had lav sink on passenger side, and shower and separate room with commode on driver side. I will look this weekend just in case. Hope you have resolved your issue anyway.

Hey Trode!

By golly, the 5341 drawings I have show the lav sink on the drivers side!! I am interested in your drawings if you have them. I looked at a 1341 layout and the lav sink is a little larger than the 8311, so the air valve may be visible under the lav sink cabinet. Thank you so much!

No good news

Sorry to report I found no plumbing diagrams in my literature. So can not help. What had me confused is my boat, after searching for the diagram in the motorhome I was frustrated thinking I had seen one there, but after checking files at home for boat I realized THAT was the one nagging my memory, I have a full diagram for my boat, just knew I had one for something.

I found a plumbing diagram here http://www.irv2.com/forums/f105/blac...al-260723.html

I is for a Dolphin, but as you will notice only the supply side is represented, not drainage. I will continue to look during my browsing and let you know if I find anything.

Tom

Thanks so much Trode1!

I will check out the post. I have finished my first attempt at fixing the problem, by gluing in the small vent pipe extension and installing a Siphon vent. If the smell comes back, will check for the air valve in the wall.
Thanks again!
