2004 Seabreeze smog check

2004 Seabreeze smog check every year I have to take the engine cover off and have them put something on the spark plug wire. I Was wondering if there's a digital hook up somewhere that I can't find like on an automobile but you plug into underneath the dash, so I don't have to go through this every year thank you.

Should be under the dash to the right of steering wheel. In CA if they don't connect to the plug you fail on that new a vehicle.

If your Sea Breeze is on a Ford chassis the OBD port should be under the dash on the right side of the steering column. Not easy to find the first time. On my 99 they plug into the OBD and also want the dog house cover removed.

Don't they have to visually inspect the smog controls? That obviously means removing the dog house.

Yes, that's the reason for removing the cover. Also if it's V10 there are no plug wires. With the OBD port there is no need to access anything under the dog house cover other then to inspect that the emission controls have not been modified.
