2005 Dolphin 5342 odd vent in rear cap of RV

2005 Dolphin 5342 odd vent in rear cap of RV. I found this odd vent falling apart in the back cap of my dolphin while under it doing anual maintenance. Not sure what it is for & it is falling apart. I do not have washer or dryer.

Why would a fridge drain be in the rear cap? I suppose maybe if a PO installed a small fridge in a closet at one time?

Ok, this may be totally wrong, but I have a plastic cap like that on the wall in my bedroom in my 2003 Dolphin. I always suspected it's a temp sensor for the heat system.
