2005 Dolphin LX Water Heater Inlet Elbow replacement.?

I am currently up in Maine (from florida) and my water heater began leaking. I need to find a source for the "Qest" plastic water inlet elbow (pic attached). The threads seem to be different than the current standard plumbing parts available. It threads directly into water heater and water inlet hose.

Anybody have had to replace a Qest fitting in the water compartment? NO HOT WATER ....when you are in Maine that really is an impact.

Appreciate any advice.

OD of Quest is same size as 1/2" PEX
GO to Home Depot/Lowes/ACE hardware and get a 1/2" thread---push to connect elbow

Thread into WH Tank HOT out......cut connector on Quest Line OFF and Push the line into the elbow

OR take some measurements and add some 1/2" section of PEX out of elbow and connect that PEX to the Quest Pipe with straight push to connect connector

Just need to replace that Quest elbow with current available fittings....ask one of the employees for your options

Thanks excellent idea. I ended up going to a Marine supply store (plenty up here near Bar Harbor) and purchased a water heater bypass kit and utilized the straight connector in the kit. So all is well!

Thanks for your input.
