2006 National RV Surfside Roof & Manual

We purchased a 2006 National RV Surfside 32F but there were no manuals at all in it. Does anyone know where we can purchase some?
We also need to know what the roof is made of. Our last RV had a rubber roof but my husband says he doesn't think this one has a rubber roof on it. Could it be fiberglass?

Your roof is fiberglass.

There is a manual that covers the basic systems that is published by National. There are many more manuals from various manufacturers relating to specific components. I could have some or all scanned to pdf, but there is a cost to do so.

Most if not all manuals for the appliances, refrigerator, furnace, air conditioners, or what ever can be downloaded from the manufacturers web site. Just get the manufacturers name and model number of the appliance and search the web. While the National owners manual is nice to have it is very general in it content.

In the file section of the National RV Forum on Yahoo Groups there are a couple of files you will be interested in. One is for a 2006 Surfside Schematics and a brochure for the 2007 Surfside. Didn't see any owners manuals though. You will need to join to access the files, it's free.

There are references on this forum to repositories of NRV documentation. I put the owners manuals on for a 2005 Dolphin. If you don't come up with your exact year and model, look at some docs for other models close to your model year. I would bet 80-90% of the information is applicable since National used the same designs and ideas through their product line. For any specific fixture, like the range or fridge or slide drive or power jacks, you usually can go to that manufacturer's web site and get the info you need.

We have an 06 Surf Side 34'. We have all the manuals, but as mentioned above, there are a lot of them and reproducing would take a long time. I have to admit that we thought we had no manuals for the first two years we had the coach - then lo and behold while deciding to store some soda under the dinette seat - there was a box with everything. We got along fine before, and have probably only hauled out the box twice since we found it.
Folks here very helpful - if you have any specific questions, we will answer them or try to look them up.
Best of luck - you have a great rig there - enjoy.

National 2006 Surf Side Fiber Glass roof

Does anyone know the weight limit for a National Surf Side fiberglass roof?

I would really like to get up on top and clean and reseal the roof.

Don't know the exact weight limit of your roof , but I believe the rear ladder has a 300lb weight limit, I'm over 200 lbs and haven't had any issues at all on the roof of my Tradewinds, I just try and stay away from the radius edge where it there isn't much support underneath the fillon fiberglass.

I have an 07 Sea Breeze I believe it's the same roof, super solid steel frame construction, yes avoid the outer radius edge. I am 225 and have been on the roof too many times to count...safe travels.
