2007 power cord reel compartment..WHAT IS THIS?

I have this little power box on the side wall of the power cord reel compartment. Can anyone PLEASE tell me what it is and how to use it. Thanks....Dennis

It typically used as a Relay to provide power to your water heater element. You likely have a 'Water Heater' switch on your power panel inside the RV, flip that switch ON and the relay inside that box closes, supplying 120 Vac to the water heater element.

It's for the block heater

My 1999 TW has a receptacle at that location for the block heater. It is powered by a switch on the console to the left of the driver. It can be used for any thing that requires 120 VAC.

I have a switch on my utility panel that states "water heater 110v 12v" . My water heater is not connected to this circuit in storage which is controlled from the dash. Why have a redundant switch?

Some ....water heater electric switches are inconvenient to access so RV MFGs install another switch/relay inside the RV
*switches inside the Utility Bay/Wet Bay are for conveniency

So many different means/methods for same outcome
