Question 4 season rv?

How can you tell if you have a 4 season rv? I am the second owner of the unit and the previous owner kept pretty good records. There is a mention of winterization kit in the owners manual (IF EQUIPPED) but nothing that specifically states that my rv is equipped. The underside is fully enclosed but I am not sure. Thanks for the help.

A winterization kit is usually just a water heater bypass valve or two and perhaps a valve at the water pump and hose to draw antifreeze into the plumbing system with the pump.

A 3-4 season RV would also have heated wet bay (either by a furnace outlet in the bay, heaters, or heat pads under the tanks) and plumbing routed inside cabinets and heated spaces rather than in walls and under floor spaces. Usually the wet bay compartments are labeled "Heated Wet Bay" or it will be mentioned in the owner's manual. Put a remote thermometer in the wet bay and turn on the furnace, see if the temperature rises after heat has been on a few hours.

They will also be better insulated throughout and have dual pane windows.

Based on the info you have dual pane windows, heated water bay and heated water tanks, good insulation in walls, floor and ceiling. You're good to go! Your biggest heat loss will come from your windshield and the entry door window. Why National put in dual pane windows and a single pane door window is a mystery. Another big way cold air gets into the MH is through the dash A/C system. On ours if you don't turn the A/C knob to off, the vents stay open and allow cold air to enter in the winter or hot air in the summer.
By the way the bays and water tanks only get heat if you use the furnace, not the heat pumps or electric plug in heaters.
