50-30 amp adapters
Hi have a 2007 Seabreeze Lx. Trying to find the 50-30 connection adapter that would allow me to bypass using the 50 amp cord. Most 50amp plugs do not look like my original 50 amp cord plug. Looked on amazon and all over. Would like to not have to wrestle with the 50 amp cord when in cold weather and have only 30 amp at the pedestal. Any ideas?

Every plug should have a model # stamped into it.
NEMA 14-50 is the standard 50 amp plug and TT-30 R is the standard RV 30 amp outlet.
There are 125/250 volt 50 amp, twist lock plugs and outlets use on boats. Could that be what you have ?
Are there any markings on your plug ?

Yes indeed my 50amp cord is a marine type plug and twist. Not any marinas up where I live that would stalk this 50-30amp plug. Any ideas?

Not sure I'm following, but are you saying someone put the wrong cord or end on your rv ???
If you have a 50 amp coach, keep a 50 amp cord because being non-standard would create more issues than resolve...
IMHO, you best do a lot of research because if they put the wrong connector, it might be wired wrong inside and could cause real issues. And so, just changing the end out may be dangerous!
If you really want to use 30 amps and lose some of the functionality of your rv's electrical system, you can get a 50 amp female to 30 amp male dog bone like this and a 30 amp extension like this to do it.
Your call, but remember, you may have to cut back on concurrent electrical usage.

I don't think you can do what you want with a ready made cord. You need to have L1 and L2 combined so both "sides" of the incoming will get power. You could buy a 30 amp cord and change the end to the 50 amp twist lock then wire L1 and L2 together. Not something you can buy off the shelf.

you could buy a 30 amp extension cord and then plug the adapter from your existing 50 amp to the 30 amp and run the 30 amp extension to your plug.
this assumes you get past the 50amp marine fitting issue.

What i do is:
I have a 30 amp extension cord and a 50 to 30 adapter , I plug the adapter in to my 50 amp cord leave leave the 50 amp cord in the bay and run the 30 amp to the pedestal.

Sounds like he has a detachable, thus stealable, 50 amp cord. Those come with a twist lock on the house end.
If that is the case I would be checking RV stores for a mating connector. If I had a mating connector it's easy to make an adapter out of a heavy duty extension cord or dog bone type adapter to get the molded plug on the 30 amp end.

Our '05 National Dolphin came with a "spike" type marine plug that put IMHO entirely too much force on the 50Amp cable. I wanted to put a surge/polarity unit in the circuit and didn't want to mistakenly leave it at some RV park or have it grow legs and run away. I added a 50A plug (clothes dryer type) into the transfer box in parallel with the cable coming from the marine 50A socket on the side of the RV. Here are some images.
Now the power cable comes from under a lockable hatch.
Hoe this help a little.

Most all RVs with removable power cords use a marine type twist lock connector on the RV end of the cord with a regular RV male connector on the other end based on the level of service (50 or 30). I have a 50A removable cord and use one of these when I only have 30A service available. Keeps me from having to use adapters. 50A twist lock on one end and 30A male plug on the other.
