People do not understand that the difference between 30 and 50 amp is a lot more than 20 amps.
Maybe because in a S&B 30 amp and 50 amp are both 240 volt or 2 120 volt feeds. Many have damaged their unit by plugging into a dryer 240 volt 30 amp. Rvs use a single phase 30 amp feed not a 2 phase 30 amp feed.
Actually there are RV's that use 240 volts. They are the high end units like mine. My dryer is 240 volts. Some have 240 volt cooktops or Advantium 240 volt micro/convection.
