'95 Dolphin Dash Switch

On my '95 Dolphin diesel, there is a switch on the dash marked "Start Boost". Is that a switch for the glow plugs? Thanks for your help.

Your "start boost" switch is a spring loaded switch (must be held closed) that connects your house batteries and your chassis batteries to give you extra starting power. Use when your chassis batteries are weak. Rook

Exactly. Say she's been sitting a while. You turn the key and get a very slow starter. You can use the "start boost" button to grab some extra juice from the house batteries to start the engine.
