98 Tradewinds third brake light model number?
Can anyone with a 98 Tradewinds help me?
I need to replace my 3rd brake light, but my old one is too melted to read any model number or manufacturer info. (Small fire in back wall from exhaust pipe coming off)
Could someone post the info I need to find a replacement (any identifying numbers, etc)?
Also, if anyone knows where I could find one, that would be greatly appreciated!

Like the attached image (Google is a bit light on Tradewinds brake light images)? Is it surface mounted? Or recessed? Dimensions?

Yes, like your image.
It is recessed. I can't grab the dimensions right away, as it is across town having tail light wiring redone.
Attached is a picture of what is left of it. As charred as it is, it still lights up!

you might have a Hamsar 84012 CHMSL 120. obsolete! contact Terminal supply.800 989 9632 They may have one. I believe they are 10" long. I replaced mine in 2014. Hamsar itself is in Canada. If you have no luck with them call Visone in Kentucky. They have a couple hundred rv wrecks. Worst case, I still have my old one. I will post a picture. Tom 07 Pacifica

I replaced mine this summer, it is made by Hella Inc. They make this light in 12 volt and 24 volt in the colors of white, blue, red with a clear lens, and red with a red lens. The part number is 2DA 959 071-xxx. The three digit part number suffix (xxx)designates which option, I can't find my paper work so I can't tell you what the suffix is that you want. Call Hella Automotive Sales, Inc. in Peachtreecity GA. Their phone number is (770) 632-8755, Ask for aftermarket and RV sales. Tell them that you want a twelve volt red with red lens light
