Does anyone know where the shut off valve or petcock for the ice maker may be located? We just purchased the MH and the previous owner said it should work. There is water up to the solenoid, The ice maker is cycling. The owner manual said there should be a water shut off behind the grill (what grill?) Any help would be great!

On my 02 dolphin the shutoff is under kitchen sink. Grill is access to back of fridge.

On my 2000 Tropi-cal the valve is under the kitchen sink attached to the in-line water filter. If you have a filtered water tap next to the sink, there will be 2 lines "T" ed into the filter. Now would be a good time to replace the in line filter if it has not been replaced recently. Make sure you have new seals for the in line filter before replacing it. These seals can be a pain to replace without a 90 degree pick.

My 99 Dolphin is the as FredV. There is an electric solenoid valve behind the outside grill access. However, there is plastic line that goes from the solenoid to the ice maker. Yours may be broken as has happened to many owners, not just National RV owners. If you have water to the solenoid the electric coil or valve may be bad or the line is plugged.

What they are most likely referring to is the solenoid itself. Especially since you say there is water to the solenoid.

Check power at the solenoid both static and when ice maker should be filling. Could be as simple as a bad ground.
