99 Tropical Tag Axle

I had my RV in for packing and brake check and was notified that my Tag Axle suspension was gone. It is a rubber shear suspension. It has a piece of metal than a piece of rubber, metal rubber and one more piece of rubber followed with a piece of metal. All of this is sandwiched together. Has anyone had to replace these for their tag axle and what was your experience? I think MOR/ryde makes them.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I have no experience with your issue, but hopefully someone will see your post soon and have an answer for you.

You are correct, the axle is mad by MOR/Ryde. I have never worked on the axle other bleed the axle master cylinder and brakes. From reading the attached manual it is a job working with heavy parts and equipment. I also attached the owners manual for the axle. The brake manufacturer is not in business any longer. Some on this forum and the Yahoo National forum know where to get parts to repair the brakes.

Not sure what you mean by gone, but I'm almost afraid to inspect mine again. How many miles is on your coach?
Just returned from a trip and all rode fine.

Yeah, if you do a search, there's a thread on this board where a guy and his son changed theirs out.
He said it was fairly simple, and went quick !

I have 47k miles on her. I have done a search for the father son who replaced their own but nothing is coming up. What search terms should I use?

Thanks
