ABS light, brake fluid.. 04 seabreeze 32 ft.

I had new rotors and pads put on all 4 wheels now my ABS light is on. Went to check the brake fluid... well it is not easy to get to or add fluid. I did not see a fluid level line on the reservoir, you can't see through the reservoir to see the fluid level. It has two reservoir caps? why two? I guess you have to pump in the fluid if you need it?

Anybody have the ABS light come on after a brake job? we did not open the fluid lines but did open the caps on the reservoir thank you for any help.

Do you have a scan too to read the code?
First guess would be a wheel sensor, or wire to it.

It's so weird being the same age as old people.

Low fluid turns on a BRAKE light.

ABS light is warning of electrical issues in the ABS system. When the light is on, no ABS, but you still have brakes.

Some dual brake system have to caps.

There are tone rings with electrical connectors attached to each wheel hub sometimes the connections get loose or dirty and they throw a abs code. Try disconnecting and cleaning them.

To measure the fluid level in the tank I use a nylon tie wrap as a dipstick, and I find it easiest to use a pump to add fluid. I have one I reserve exclusively for brake fluid so that it doesn't get contaminated with oil or coolant.
