Access panel to plumbing need help

I have a leak behind the access panel that I have ignored to the point that I now have considerable rust on screws and panels.

I need advise on how to get behind this panel which has been secured with screws and expanding foam

Do I have to remove the levers and other items protruding through the panel? Or is the plumbing attached to the inside of the panel?

I'm sure someone out there has done this

Thanks
Sam

No, you do not have to remove the levers. Just remove the screws and the entire panel will lift out. I have a light in front of mine and it's easier if you remove the light. There is enough slack in the water hoses to allow you to work on it. I can almost guarantee you it's going to be your water inlet that is leaking. Many of us National RV owners have had this happen. I bought one from Camping World. It has a built in regulator. If I remember right, the original one is regulated at 50 psi. The new ones are 65 psi. They don't make the 50 psi any longer. Here's a link. They also have a chrome looking one that costs a few dollars more.

Thanks for the advice it could not have been simpler
Regret not doing it sooner

All I had to do is tighten 4 screws on inlet

While open I swapped out pump for the spare and repainted the rusty panel

Just a tip regarding rusty screws. Many years ago someone gave me a can of Aerokroil so I could loosen some rusty bolts. It is sold by a company called Kano Laboratories. It is not sold is stores, you have to send for it. It is by far the best stuff for loosening rusty parts I have ever used.
A neighbor of mine wanted to take an old wheelbarrow apart to paint it. On three of the bolts he used WD40 and on the other three he used Aerokroil. The ones with the Aerokroil came right off, the other two took forever to get off and he had to break one of the bolts. A garage here in town uses it exclusively-- they swear by it.
