Adding Power Shades - My Christmas Present to ME!!

Howdy All!!!
I was wondering if anyone has added power shades and what the cost was to do that???? I have a 1999 Sea View 8330 - and driving west after 1pm is killer!!
We have the visor things that hang down from below the cabinet but i want something a little nicer... and easier to use...
I'm looking for a good reliable brand, and a good ballpark on cost WITH installation...
Any help or info would be AWESOME!!!!

Power Shades

I have power shades on the windshield of my Newmar Dutch Star and I love them very easy to use and little to none distractions. If you are going to install them make sure that they will cover the entire width of the windshield. Mine don't cover the corners.......and guess where the sun is always shining in through. Yep that gap oh well I improvise something to take care of that. If your installing new, then make sure they can cover all your windshield...and good luck

Thank you!! I've looked at a couple and didn't think that would make much of a difference... So that is good to know!!
Thanks!!!

I bought a pair on ebay and installed them myself. I had a hump where the TV was. I originally planned to construct a wood spacer to deal with the hump. Since we also installed a LC TV, my wife convinced me to cut the hump out and cutout a wood filler to cover the hole. This gave me a flat surface to mount the shades to. I also got the wireless controller for the shades which prevented having to wire in a switch. I don't remember what we paid for them, but it seems it was around $100 each.
