Air Filter Replacement

The air filter on our 1999 Tradewinds 7371 needs to be replaced. it looks like it's accessible under the bed. I was just wondering how hard of a project this is or is it a DIY project? Where is the best place to buy this filter. Thanks

What ever you do, it is critical that the filter be connected and clamped properly.

Diesel engines are huge air pumps and a hand full of dust will severely damage one.

Totally agree with Twinboat. Be sure to clamp and seal all air connections.
If you can find the mfg, and part number on the filter, you should be able to find the part on Amazon or Ebay.
Done this twice.

The best way to access the filter is through the left side rear compartment. The upper wall can be removed for better access. Be sure to inspect flexible couplings for chaffing, Good luck.

Found OEM filter local for $97.00. Took VAflatlanders advice and found that access panel. It went easier than I expected. Thanks for all the help.
