Anchoring a child seat seatback

I have a Seabreeze 2007 Lx. The dinette and couch have regular seatbelts and anchors. Grandson is 3 years old and wondering what to do for safety. Seatback on his chair needs to be anchored to prevent it from pitching forward. Any solutions from grandparents. Must be legal in Canada. Can't find any info from government sources. Help!

Can you put his seat facing backwards in the dinette. I can't remember at what age or weight they are allowed to face forward.
Maybe look at the website of the child seat to see what they recommend.

When our little ones were little we put them in the dinette. As one reply said, at that age facing rear is recommended. Motorhomes aren't usually too conducive to using car seats but that is the closest you can get to what is recommended as the couch will have that facing sideways.

One thing that National says to do is to stow the dinette table lest it become a missile in a crash. Honestly we never did that. Probably is a good idea if you are worried about it though.

Hope that helps.
