Backup camera upgrade

Has anyone upgraded their backup camera on a 2004 Dolphin? Mine just quit. Wired? Wireless? Has anyone found a good fit to replace the old monitor in the same location?
Thanks for any help!

A third vote for Tim. He helped us with a new camera and monitor. Good price and he should offer to bench test your equipment, no charge, except for postage.

I got rid of everything but the cable and ran it to my TV thru the component jack.

ASA OCA85E Adapter Cable

ASA 31300006 Wireless Receiver Adapter

Lastbus Backup Camera Waterproof Night Vision Wide View Angle Rear View Camera with 4 Pin GX12-4 Connector for RV Camper Truck Trailer Bus Van

I do have to run my 300 watt inverter for the tv.

I also went with RV Cams
I stayed with Voyager brand and the stock black and white cable worked with my new color monitor.
I did have to make a new bracket system once i removed the old tube style monitor but it all worked out great!!

I am working on replacing mine now. The cold weather has slowed it down some. But I am using the RVS that I had on my class C.
This one has 6 wire harness, I guess from the up and down motion built in. So I think I have to run a new wire.Click image for larger version

Does your new monitor fit in the dash cutout same as the old monitor? If I update mine I want it to look like it came from the factory that way.

Does yours have a sony in it now. If so, just google sony rv cams and it will find a company that makes a replacement for it that fits in the original. I have been looking to replace mine that is what I have found.
It is rvcams.

i had the old voyager system and the one i got from rv cams fit perfect, it even came with a bracket to modify the mounting, pretty much plug and play. looks like it belongs there.

Thanks! Good to know. I have the old Voyager system too. I'm guessing the upgrade is in the $250-300 range?

I went with Tadi brothers, They had adapters that plugged into the Voyager wiring plug and play.
