Basement door latch parts
I recently bought a '99 Sea View and need a couple of the latches that go on the inside of the basement door. Are they an universal part?

You need to take a picture of them and post. Yes, door latches are available, but there are many different styles.
See if you can get a part number off one and do a search.
On my HR the handle and latch were all one part, came keyed. 4 screws and installed
On my new to me Winnebago, with power locks, the tabs on the end of the door latch tend to break. $14 part, about 15 minutes to change, Does require drilling out some rivets to disassemble and riveting the new ones in place

Yes the latches at the side of the doors are "fleetwood style."

If your latches are the same as my 99 Dolphin and are the pop out style they are made by Trimark.

Yes, they will be those trimark T-handle latches. If anyone ever comes up with a workable replacement, (other than Trimark), we'd all be happy to know. Trimark holds us hostage on the price of these, especially when most units have 20 or more of these sticky frustrating latches.

21 years, 150000 plus miles only ever had to repair one.
