Bathroom fan motor and cover

A tree branch and sun stress has cracked the cover to my bathroom fan in my '99 TropiCal. I am going to get a new cover and while I am at it, I want to replace the fan motor. I have no information on which one it is. I see there is a D shaft and a round shaft. How do I determine which one I need?

If you have the typical 14" square opening, it might be easier and cheaper (and more satisfying in the long run) to simply pull the unit out and replace it with one of these or something similar:

I put two in and love them. Lots of air movement.

The bathroom fan I'm thinking of ( approx 6"dia. white blade ) if you can get close enough with a magnifying glass you can make out the shaft end to determine the shape.

If you replacing the motor it doesn't matter, just motor and fan that matches.

We did the same thing, except we bought the higher end models with motorized cover and remote control. Kind of expensive (about $300 on sale from Camping World) but they were worth every penny!

But if the OP is intent on just replacing the cover and motor, they should also be available from Camping World and I think Amazon too.

That's the best upgrade you can do get rid of that noisy fan and install a quiet Fantastic fan.
